Süleyman ÇETİNSAYA

Chairman of the Executive Board

Süleyman Çetinsaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Artaş Holding and Avrupakent REIT, was born in Kayseri in 1954.

After graduating from Kayseri Trade High School, Çetinsaya started his business life by stepping into the real estate sector in Istanbul and founded Artaş İnşaat in 1977. In addition to residential complexes and business centres, he entered the tourism sector by constructing hotels between 1982 and 1992 and the retail sector by building the Carousel Shopping Centre in 1995.

In 2004, he started to produce housing projects by creating the Avrupa Konutları brand and became a pioneer in the branded housing sector. Süleyman Çetinsaya, who has made Artaş İnşaat one of the leading companies of the real estate sector and the country, has also carried out symbolic projects of Istanbul such as Vadistanbul and Tema Istanbul.

He has also undertaken the management and operation of the housing, shopping centre and accommodation facilities that he has constructed, aiming for quality sustainability in all his projects.

Founded in 2010, Avrupakent A.Ş. was transformed into a Real Estate Investment Trust in 2023 and today its portfolio includes prestigious shopping centres, residences and valuable real estates in various locations.

With Hacı Ömer Çetinsaya Foundation, which was established with the mission of providing a better future for children and young people, he carries out many projects for education, health and worship areas.

Çetinsaya is a founding member of the Real Estate Investment Trust Association, the Chairman of the High Advisory Board of the Association of Shopping Centres Investors and the Founding Member of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association. He is the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and has an Honorary Doctorate from Erciyes University.

He is married and has 3 sons.
